i met up with an old friend after a whole 7 months 18 days to be precise...
it never ceases to amaze me how we can always talk exactly from the point we left last even if we are speaking after ages...
The best thing about good friends is that no matter how long u stay apart, its like uve never been gone and it was just yesterday that u spoke last...updating each other with whatevers happening...
and then u realise, a lot happened that 'yesterday' which only SEEMED 24 hours away...

ReplyDeleteI talked to my friend like 5 yrs later.. and we did the same thing.. a lot had happened in btw.. but then we didnt care about what we both missed in the middle... we just wanted to make a present that was so full of us.. and our talks and our memories.
I guess thats what true friendship is all about.
i guess all of my best friends... have had this session with me.. after years..

ReplyDeleteThis is exactly what my friend said to me when we met after quite sometime..thats the way it is but sometimes it sucks to be all alone..then outa no where your long lost frainds show up & you've to pretend that everything's the same..i don't know about you but this is the first things that strikes me whenever i meet long lost frainds..it sucks!

i understand what u mean...and yes have pretty much been there myself too...
but in a way, u learn to ignore whats been troubling u in the process of pretending...and sometimes that helps u heal faster :)
i know it feels like a 'u-can-run-but-u-cant-hide' scenario but there comes a point where u are happy with running and dont really feel the need to hide...
and thats when u realise u learning to face it!
