cryptic thoughts #12

trying to hate the one you love is even more tougher than having to love the one you hate..

but sometimes life dares to demand such favours..probably because it knows that you are not equipped enough to slap it in the face and say no, however much you wish you could..

and i wonder--is misery the end result of a futile compromise or a bad choice??

  1. obviously trying to hate the one whom u loved like anything is always tough.....because the one u hate affect u in less ways than the one u loved once...!

If life slaps such dares...it also teaches u how to take it!

Well misery is obviously a futile compromise but often its due to a bad choice we made....but then we can't change it...so the sooner we accept...the faster misery goes.

  3. I completely agree with u here Pri, but u know what's harder than tryin to hate the one u love? it's doin the same with the knowledge that is is what the one who u love wants you to do.
And well I would love to give life a piece of my mind sometimes but then as it is I who has to live it, I refrain from voluntarily screwin it up :P

  4. Trying to hate the one you love is like trying to hate oneself...It hurts..Hurts bad..Its just so much easier to let go or to give in and then end up feeling bad...Ahhh...You are so right! :|

  7. (copy pasted)

Bound in sand ever moving, turning
Stung by wind with breath of learning
Two trees stark against a changing sky
They sway and bend like a rockabye.

They stretch into a starry landscape
As spraying sea forms a misty drape
Enfolding branches with a shawl of love
Their union fated by the source above.

Waves beat onto the shore below
Shadowy dunes that move then grow
Sea swells, abates in an endless quest
The give and take of a relationship test.

Each tree mysterious as approaching night
Yet, each responsive to the other's light
    Searching, discovering the other's needs
Cosseting, calming when one tree sap bleeds.

And when two trees reach their climb
To splice the changing clouds of time
Nature's spirits rise above the test
Trunks bend together, their union blessed.

  8. on the risk of being labeled a nitpicker, there's a redundant word there - "more tougher".

three blogs i follow - this one, sempiternal scribbles and the scribbling girl - updated the blogs at nearly the same time, on nearly the same theme! cant get weirder than this!

if you think differently, go right ahead & express yourself..you might help me grow up in the process and i would be thankful.
if you think alike, you can ofcourse talk too..you might help me feel less alone in the crowd and i would be grateful.
Whatever you might think, i would love to know your reaction!!!
