Cryptic thoughts #33

Innocent faces sometimes prove out to be wearing the most treacherous masks.

Some people wear disguises to hide their pain and some to conceal their dark soul.
Either way, when the masks come off, I'm always left feeling a little 'less' alive.

If only these masquerade parties would come with a prior invite, instead of being an unexpected on-the-spot show that they normally are.
That way, at least I would have the option of not showing up to witness the event.

  1. Perhaps nobody likes the masks but perhaps most of us wear it, if not for the whole but part of our lives! Couldn't agree more about Masquerade parties !! Nice post..

  4. Most of us hate masks but only those worn by others...we dont realize that the same way others hate the masks worn by us...thats life..if there were no masks, life would be much simpler and there would be no place for friends...rs...we dont realize that the same way others hate the masks worn by us...thats life..if there were no masks, life would be much simpler and there would be no place for friends...

well yes...as long as its not harming anybody...
sometimes, masks are needed to distract us off the pain we feel...
but whatever the reason, when the mask is off, it always hurts!

well yes, it is random most of the times...no one can be really 'prepared' for a face off!

yes, i agree..'hurt' is a cycle---we often hurt those who care for us and care for those who hurt us...
but this is not about 'hurt' or 'care' for that matter.
this is just about being 'genuine' and that is something which depends on our conscience.
wouldn't you rather be hated for being someone you are, than be loved for being someone you are not?

  20. I have to speak that it is great to know that somebody talked about this as I had a testing time discovering the same information in a different place. Your topic was the former location that gave me the articles . Thanks.

In conclusion , allow me thank you for your tolerance with my English as (I'm sure you have become aware this at this time ,), English is not my chief tongue thus I am utilizing Google Translate to shape out how to put in writing what I really plan to tell.

if you think differently, go right ahead & express yourself..you might help me grow up in the process and i would be thankful.
if you think alike, you can ofcourse talk too..you might help me feel less alone in the crowd and i would be grateful.
Whatever you might think, i would love to know your reaction!!!
